Tested by Underwriters Laboratories these high security jewelry safes come in three classifications: TL-15, TL-30 and TL-30X6 which stands for Tool Rated and the amount of time they were tested. TL-15 High Security Safes have survived an attack on the door with several different commonly used tools for a period of at least 15 minutes and can potentially insure up to $125,000. TL-30 High Security Safes have survived an attack on the door with several different commonly used tools for a period of at least 30 minutes and can potentially insure up to $250,000. TL-30X6 High Security Safes have survived an attack on all six sides with several different commonly used tools for a period of at least 30 minutes and can potentially insure up to $500,000 and up. Add in the 2 hour fire protection to all of these models and you have the best fire resistance available. When you are planning on storing over $20,000 in jewelry, these high security jewelry safes are the only choice.
When your Jewelry collection is valued at less than $20,000, a Home Safe is the next best option. We offer several models capable of having jewelry shelving installed to easily organize and keep safe your necklaces, watches, bracelets and rings. These home safes also offer burglary protection and have been tested and approved by Underwriters Laboratories as a Residential Security Container RSC. Nearly all of our home safes have fire ratings starting at 30 minutes and ending at 2 hours. Since Jewelry is often comprised of some form of metal, it's always best to go with the highest fire rating possible if these items are irreplaceable.
