How To Clean, Maintain & Care for your Safe's Paint
TEXTURED FINISH
Use a non-ammonia based glass cleaner
Foam non-ammonia based glass cleaners can be purchased at stores like Costco, Target, & Walmart.
For fingerprints that just won't come off, use a tiny bit of mineral spirits dabbed on a soft cloth and gently rub the prints. No guarantee, but it will remove most of the oil from a fingerprint.
HIGH-GLOSS FINISH
IMPORTANT! Use a non-ammonia based glass cleaner
Using ammonia based glass cleaners like Windex will slowly breakdown the clear coat finish of high-gloss paint.
For extra shine, use car polish on your high-gloss safe. Application is the same as on a car.
