Switched from a biometric safe to this mechanical safe. I am glad I did so. Great quality for a fair price.

Great peace of mind lock box

As far as lock boxes go this isn’t the most compact or full featured option, but it balances size and security well. The biggest 2 reasons I purchased this safe are it’s size and lack of electronics, there is no battery to worry about and it fits my 1 fire arm and spare magazines without taking much space at all. It could fit into a sparsely used drawer but the lid needs a lot of clearance to fully open. I think one thing that really should have been added is a piston to assist opening. Sturdy construction and more importantly an opening meant to secure the box to a larger stationary object.
