The all new locking system features a biometric fingerprint scanner, quick access Electronic Keypad with choice of a 6 digit combination that illuminates with a blue light after the first button is activated and backup high security laser cut override key. With audible feedback, you'll know the button has been pushed and after the correct combination is completed, the spring loaded door flips down to present your pistols. As the door reaches it's last 1/2" of opening, a speed reduceractivates and allows the door to stealthily open while the red interior lightsimultaneously turns on allowing you to easily see inside even in the dark. New to the Biometric Handgun Hanger Safe is an optional silent mode, simply slide the mute switch and all buttons and functions will be silenced making your safe completely Stealth. New for 2020, Stealth added a Power Port that allows you to keep the safe plugged in at all times.
With all solid steel construction, a 3/8" thick 2-piece solid steel door and the battery located on the inside, this safe is insanely difficult to tamper with and extremely pry-resistant, preventing unauthorized access and leaving you feeling confident that your children will not be able to access your handguns. New and Improved, this handgun safe is totally Straw and Pick Proof with the addition of a welded steel lock housing that prevents anything from tampering with the release mechanism.
The Stealth Handgun Hanger safe can be plugged in via the all new power port or can run off of one 9-volt battery located on the inside.
Located on the bottom of the safe are 4 bolt down holes and a free security cable is included to ensure a thief is unable to just pick up the safe and open it on their own time.
The safe is completely lined with high density foam on all sides and the rods have a smooth, scratch resistant coating to ensure no scratches on or inside your most prized handguns. WHY THIS BATTERYBecause this battery has the highest amperage output that is needed to operate the lock.
NOTE: When you first receive the safe the electronic keypad is set to the factory default of 1-2-3-4-1-2
Error Note:If lock beeps 5 times, the combination was not installed successfully. Simply restart from STEP 1.
IMPORTANT! Test your new code several times with the door open to ensure the new code is properly set up before closing and locking the safe so you don’t get locked out.
IMPORTANT: This safe will open on any fingerprint until the first fingerprint has been successfully registered. Make sure you at least register 1 fingerprint before storing valuables inside. This safe can store up to 31 different fingerprints. If you think you have registered your first fingerprint and it still opens on any fingerprint then you did not properly register that fingerprint and should try again.
Error Note:If lock beeps 5 times, that fingerprint was not installed successfully. Simply restart from the beginning of registering your fingerprint.
To turn ON Silent Mode press and hold Button 4 for about 5 Seconds until you see a light flash. To turn OFF Silent Mode Hold Button 4 again until light flashes and you hear a beep.
