The Stealth Essential Gun Safe EGS23 has been California DOJ Approved as a firearm safety device, meeting the strict requirements set by the California Department of Justice for secure firearm storage. The safe is built with 14 gauge steel on both the door and body for solid construction and durability. The door is secured with 8 solid steel locking bolts that are 1" in diameter in a 2-way locking bolt system with 4 active bolts and 4 deadbolts for comprehensive protection against pry attacks.

The Stealth EGS23 comes standard with the UL Approved NL Universal Lock UR-2020 high security electronic lock. This lock is one of the most reliable locks in the safe industry and is assembled and tested in the USA. This safe has a mechanical dial lock option available. With the lock comes a hard plate and internal re-locker that will keep the bolts locked if a thief were to attempt a punch or drill attack.

Fire Protection Technology

The Stealth Essential Gun Safe EGS23 comes with a 30 minute fire rating at 1200°F, providing solid protection for your firearms, ammunition, and valuables. Stealth adds an intumescent door seal that expands to multiple times its size during a fire to prevent smoke from entering the safe, keeping your contents safe and secure inside even during fire emergencies.

Pre-installed on the inside of the EGS23 is an electrical power outlet kit that is equipped with 3 outlet plug-ins and 2 USB slots so that you can charge your electronics, plug in a light kit or dehumidifier, etc. inside the safe.

The Essential Gun Safe Series comes in a flat black finish and is styled with a black 3-spoke handle for a sleek, modern appearance.
