The Rhino TGIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe comes with the patented SAFEX® Security System—the next generation of safe security systems! Rhino has designed this with a revolutionary locking system that interlocks the safe door to the body, without traditional bars or bolts.

In addition to the SAFEX® Security System added to this safe, the Rhino Metals TGIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe is built with thick 7-gauge steel on the body and door, and it comes with the Gear-Driven Patented F-4 Clutch System. The TGIX series also comes with an optional 7 Gauge AR500 steel inner liner upgrade. These security features helped this safe receive the UL Residential Security Container (RSC) Burglary Rating. This safe exceeds the requirements for a California DOJ Firearm Safety Device.

The Rhino TGIX Thunderbolt Series comes with an impressive 160 minutes of certified fire protection, tested at 1400°F. The safe has fireboard protection in the ceiling, walls, floor, and door. The safe can have this high fire rating due to its complete tri-step door design and dual heat activated Palusol fire seal, which will expand up to 8 times its size in the case of a fire to keep out heat and smoke.

The Rhino TGIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe comes standard with the S&G UL Listed mechanical dial lock with day-lock. The safe can be chosen with an electronic lock or upgraded to a biometric lock with backlit keypad option. Providing additional protection for the lock is the ball bearing drill plate and spring-loaded relocker. The locking mechanism on the Thunderbolt TGIX6033 gun safe features Rhino's tamper resistant clutched handle.

The Rhino Thunderbolt TGIX6033 comes with Rhino's patented Vector™ Interior. This Vector™ System uses the back wall of the interior to adjust your interior shelving and gun rack, which allows you to maximize storage space inside your safe. This system is fully adjustable to fit your needs and provides ultimate flexibility. The entire interior is fully upholstered with Rhino's rustic-style leatherette lining.

The TGIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe model can store up to 38 long guns inside using the adjustable gun rack and included rifle rod set letting you maximize your interior gun storage.

On the inside of the door, you'll find Rhino's deluxe door panel organizer with pistol pockets, knife pouches, and storage pockets. This door organizer allows you to organize your small valuables in the door, giving you more room on your shelves for other valuables.

Some additional features inside the TGIX6033 Rhino Thunderbolt are the pre-installed electrical outlet kit that has multiple plug-ins and USB slots. The safe is equipped with an external power port and cable to plug the safe into the nearest outlet. The pre-installed LED light kit will help you be able to see your valuables stored inside the safe even in the dark. To help prevent excessive moisture from ruining your guns or other valuables, Rhino includes an electric dehumidifier rod.

Pairing with Rhino's Antique Ironworks finish, is the vault-style wheel metal handle. The external hinges allow the door to open a full 180 degrees to have complete access to the interior contents of your safe.
