The Rhino TIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe now comes with the brand new SAFEX® Security System - the next generation of safe security systems! Rhino has designed this with a revolutionary locking system that interlocks the safe door to the body, without traditional bars or bolts.

In addition to the NEW SAFEX® Security System added to this safe, the Rhino Metals TIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe is built with thick 10-gauge steel on the body and door with protective and attractive looking corner reinforcements. The TIX series also come with a proprietary 5-Sided ZShield™ Protection from 3/16" Thick AR500 Steel. These security features helped this safe receive the UL Residential Security Container (RSC) Burglary Rating. This safe exceeds the requirements for a California DOJ Firearm Safety Device.

The Rhino TIX Thunderbolt Series comes with an impressive 170 minutes of certified fire protection, being tested at 1400º Fahrenheit. The safe has fireboard protection in the ceiling, walls, floor and door. The safe is able to have this high of a fire rating due to its complete tri-step door design and dual heat activated Palusol fire seal, which will expand up to 8 times its size in the case of a fire to keep out heat and smoke.

The Rhino TIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe comes standard with the S&G UL Listed Mechanical Dial lock with Day-Lock. The safe can be upgraded to an Electronic Lock option, as well. Providing additional protection for the lock is the ball bearing drill plate and spring-loaded relocker. The locking mechanism on the Thunderbolt TIX6033 gun safe features Rhino's tamper resistant clutched handle.

The Rhino Thunderbolt TIX6033 comes with Rhino's NEW Vector™ Interior. This Vector™ System uses the back wall of the interior to adjust your interior shelving and gun rack, which allows you to maximize storage space inside your safe. This New System is fully adjustable to fit your needs and provide ultimate flexibility. The entire interior is fully upholstered with Rhino's rustic-styled leatherette lining.

The TIX6033 Thunderbolt Gun Safe model can store up to 38 long guns inside using the adjustable gun rack and included rifle rod set letting you maximize your interior gun storage.

On the inside of the door, you'll find Rhino's deluxe door panel organizer with pistol pockets, knife pouches and storage pockets. This door organizer allows you to organize your small valuables in the door, giving you more room on your shelves for other valuables.

Some additional features inside the TIX6033 Rhino Thunderbolt is the pre-installed electrical outlet kit that has multiple plug-in's and USB slots. The safe is equipped with the external power port and cable to plug the safe into the nearest outlet. The pre-installed LED light kit will help you be able to see your valuables stored inside the safe even in the dark. To help prevent excessive moisture from ruining your guns or other valuables, Rhino includes an electric dehumidifier rod.

Pairing with Rhino's Antique Ironworks finish, is the vault-style wheel metal handle. The external hinges allow the door to open a full 180 degrees to have complete access to the interior contents of your safe.
