The Hornady 95072 VEXIS Mobilis Double Door MAX is the largest safe in the Hornady Mobilis line, built to bring next-generation palm vein recognition security to a full-capacity, modular gun safe. Its 9-gauge 2-ply steel exterior walls and pry-resistant 3/16" solid steel door with a non-breach seal are backed by fifteen 1" steel live locking bolts, including two on the top and bottom of each door and seven along the right door's active edge.

At the heart of the Mobilis MAX is the VEXIS palm vein recognition lock, using patent-pending near-infrared imaging and deep learning algorithms to capture millions of unique venous data points beneath the skin and create a highly secure, encrypted biometric ID. Recognition takes under half a second, multi-factor authentication options are available, and the system holds up well across a range of environmental conditions. Backup access is always available through a digital keypad or a physical key override, and palm vein data is stored locally on the lock itself, never uploaded or connected to the cloud.

Inside, the Square-Lok interior organizing system pairs shelves on the right with rifle and handgun racks on the left, plus room at the top to store a full-length rifle vertically or other tall items. Square-Lok panels on both interior doors add further mounting options, and the metal Square-Lok shelves and gun racks are fully configurable, with additional Square-Lok accessories available separately.

A 2300°F one-hour Fire Shield rating with heat-activated door seals protects contents in a fire, while a built-in 120V outlet and USB power strip keep electronics charged and ready. Protective shelf and floor mats, a durable matte grey powder-coated finish, and a black nickel three-spoke handle with two black nickel pull handles round out the design. The modular build assembles in place using the included tool kit, and the safe is pre-drilled for floor mounting.
