Known as the ultimate protection machine, the Hollon HS-750E Office Safe is rated for 2 full hours at 1700° providing 100% more fire protection than the average home safe on the market. The HS-750E recessed curvature provides virtually air tight construction preventing smoke damage during a fire as well.
With 3-way locking chrome bolt work, the HS-750E was able to survive the KSG 30-foot impact test that simulates the safe falling from a collapsing second story onto concrete. It features an anchoring hole on the bottom of the safe, and all bolting hardware is included.
With a nice looking, easy to use Electronic Lock, you won't have to worry about fumbling around with a dial and will have the ability to get into your safe within seconds. These locks have the batteries located on the outside and do not have a key override. The HS-750E has the option to switch to a Mechanical Dial lock with no extra charge.
The door detent feature will automatically lock the safe when you close it meaning you'll never have to remember to set the lock.
This model in particular, the HS-750E weighs 297 lbs. and has a 2.43 cubic Ft. Capacity. These elite safes are practically unstoppable.
Hollon backs the HS-750E safe with a one year parts and labor warranty along with a lifetime warranty that protects against house fires.
The safe works as advertised, I was a little disappointed with the shipping/buying process in a couple aspects, when I ordered the safe it was claimed to be "in stock" and would ship in 1-6 business days. As it was supposed to be a Christmas gift I ordered it early enough 12/6 for this to not be an issue, however, after receiving notification of order placement and waiting 7 business days and not receiving shipment notification I called Dean Safe and was then informed that the safe would actually ship direct from Hollon and it wouldn't ship until early January. Fast forward over a month I receive shipment notification on 1/14 that the safe has shipped. Expecting the same 1-6 business day delivery I then waited as the safe took 10 business days to be delivered on 1/27. I'm not upset about this, as it's understandable given the current situations. However after unpacking the safe I discovered a dent and paint chip (1-3 square inches or so) on the front of the safe. Again, not Dean Safe's fault, but a little disappointing after everything it took to get this safe on site. I wasn't going to even leave a review or complain, but since you asked, here is my experience. In the future a little more transparency on shipping for safes that are claimed to be "in stock" but are actually shipped from manufacturer would he helpful, and estimating 1-6 business days on shipping for a freight item is utterly silly at this time to a residential address.
