42 Long Guns. 95 Minutes of Fire Protection. Built to Resist Pry Attacks.
The Browning Sporter 42 Deluxe is built for the collector who needs real capacity without giving up protection. Three full rows of long gun storage, two inside the safe and one on the door, hold up to 42 long guns plus 9 handguns, and two Browning-exclusive Scope Savers™ let you store scoped rifles without removing your optics.
Security starts with Browning's Force Deflector™ Locking System, which uses a rotating cam device to keep the energy of a pry attempt from reaching the lock. Pry-Stop™ End Bolts, eight 1" chrome-plated hardened steel locking bolts on three sides, a solid 12-gauge steel body, and a 1" formed steel door reinforced with a U-shaped steel frame all work together to resist forced entry. The safe is UL Listed as a Residential Security Container (RSC).
Fire protection is rated at 95 minutes at 1,200°F, using interlocking ThermaBlock™ insulation, a heat-activated Palusol™ door seal, and external hinges that minimize gaps for fire and heat to enter. Inside, the patented AXIS™ Modular Shelving System, LED lighting, an interior electrical outlet, and a raised floor with no lip make the 17 cubic foot interior easy to organize and use.
