The AMSEC B5800 American Security Floor Safe Super Brute has been certified with a B-Rate burglary rating, providing solid protection against forced entry. Floor safes offer a unique security advantage through concealment - when properly installed in concrete, they are virtually invisible and inaccessible to thieves. The B5800 features a massive 3/4" solid steel plate door and robust 7-gauge thick steel body construction, creating an incredibly strong barrier against drilling, prying, and cutting attacks.

The safe is secured with three 1" chrome steel locking bolts and comes with a UL mechanical lock dial, a precision-engineered locking mechanism known for reliability and security. The lock is protected by a hard plate to prevent drilling attacks and includes a spring-loaded relocking device that automatically locks the safe down if someone attempts to punch or drill through the lock. The safe features a solid steel hinge mechanism using ⅜" diameter steel hinge pins and internal mounting pins with 1 heavy-duty dead bar behind the hinge to prevent hinge attacks. The door jamb design creates additional pry resistance.

Floor Safe Installation & Design

Floor safes are designed to be installed flush with your floor, typically in concrete, making them completely hidden from view when covered with carpet, tile, or other flooring materials. This concealment is one of the most effective security features - a thief cannot steal what they cannot find. The B5800's dimensions of 12 ¾"L x 36"W x 16 ¾"D make it ideal for installation in homes, offices, retail stores, or anywhere you need secure, concealed storage.

The interior features a carpeted floor to protect your valuables from scratches and damage. The exterior includes a dust cover plate that sits flush with your floor when installed, and a chrome turn handle for smooth operation. The safe is finished in a textured charcoal gray that blends well with concrete installations.

Important Note: This unit has a damaged hydraulic piston from freight handling, which means the door closes hard and requires manual effort. However, this does not affect the safe's security, locking mechanisms, or protective capabilities. All security features function properly.
