The brand NEW 2022 SnapSafe In-Wall safe is the latest addition to SnapSafe's ever growing product line up. It features a very simple easy to use electronic lock that will have you in and out of your new wall safe in seconds.
The all steel construction features a 16 gauge steel body with a 8 gauge steel door and this wall safe fits conveniently in-between the wall studs. It's designed for easy installation between 16 o/c wall studs with pre-drilled anchor holes and a built-in flange eliminating unnecessary replastering.
Once the correct combination has been entered, you'll notice the extra spacious interior with two removable shelves for convenient storage. Additional storage features of the SnapSafe In-Wall safe are a spring-loaded hidden compartment under the bottom shelf, a magnetic strip with hooks and a magnetic document clip.
This new version of the SnapSafe wall safe comes with an innovative latch mechanism that maximizes useable interior space.
It's finished in a durable grey powder coat and will look great hiding behind your picture frame.
SnapSafe stands behind and believes in the quality of their products by offering a lifetime warranty against material defects and workmanship.
While wall safes offer great security being easily hidden and surrounded by wall studs, these same features also make them extremely susceptible to moisture problems. Keeping papers and valuables inside zip lock bags and Tupperware help when experiencing a fire or flood, humidity will still seep inside causing mildew and corrosion. We strongly recommend using a silica based gel dehumidifier to absorb this moisture and keep your valuables safe. It's a small, rechargeable unit that has a color indicator letting you know it's full and needs to be renewed. You should open your safe (especially after initial installation) frequently to assess moisture and check the silica gel. How often the units need recharging depends on your climate and how often you are in your safe. For any questions regarding humidity and moisture, give us a call at 800-827-7534.
