This used Merlo MO 130 Diplomat 100 Fire Safe is a robust fire-resistant safe crafted by the reputable Merlo Safe company, known for their quality craftsmanship. This particular model boasts an impressive 2 hour fire resistance accredited by the National Swedish Institute for Materials Testing, ensuring the highest level of protection against fire hazards. With its recessed curvature design, it provides a virtually airtight construction to prevent smoke damage to the interior of the safe. Diplomate Safes use STYRONITE to ensure extra fire protection.
In terms of theft protection, the Merlo MO 130 fire safe has five recessed steel dead locking bolts on its steel door, and it is built with extra strong hinges made with heavy gauge steel materials. The safe itself is equipped with a S&G mechanical dial lock and key locking mechanism, protected by an additional trifold door that resists against pry bar attacks and galvanized steel plate behind. The stylish self-snap steel handle adjusts back to its start position when the door is closed.
