This Fort Knox Maverick Gun Safe 6026 Model was shipping to a customer who noticed paint marks on the top edges that were from being strapped down too tight. We took this model and gave them a replacement. The damages include paint rubs and some scratches on the top side edges. These damages do not affect any fire or security ratings on this safe. All components are in new, working condition. The safe was barely used by the customer before he noticed and got it replaced. The safe comes with a 75 minute fire rating, interior storage shelves (16 gun interior), installed electrical outlet upgraded midnight blue gloss finish, chrome 5-spoke wheel turn handle and UL Listed mechanical dial lock installed. Cranking up the heat to 1200°, the Fort Knox Maverick 6026 is fire rated for 75 minutes of Inferno Shield fire protection with its 1-1/8" reinforced fire door consisting of 3/8" steel plate, 1 layer of fireboard and 10-gauge outer reinforcement. Add in the heat activated Palusol dual thermal door seal and your vault will be locked, sealed and ready to block the worst that flames have to offer.
When it comes to security, the Fort Knox Maverick 6026 is UL listed due to its 11 gauge steel, uni-body construction with Quadrafold door frame, drill deflector bolt guard and (9) 1-1/2" diameter active solid steel locking bolts.
On the door of the Fort Knox Maverick 6026 lies a S&G Group II manipulation resistant lock, spy-proof & key lock dial protected by a drill stop hard plate with recessed multi-bearings. After you dial in the correct combination, you'll turn the chrome 5 spoke clutch drive handle and see the beautiful silver velour interior. The more simplistic interior features painted interior walls and carpeted shelving.
This safe comes with a factory installed power outlet included, allowing you to charge and use electronics like watch winders, dehumidifiers or lights.
