The BFS4520 AMSEC Burglary & Fire Safe Safe is UL RSC certified with the Residential Security Container Level I Burglary Rating due to its thick steel construction and added security features. The BFS burglary and fire safes have a 2.3125" double wall steel construction and 0.5" thick steel plate on the door. Securing the door shut are 10 active 1.25" thick steel locking bolts - locking in 4 directions.
The American Security BFS Burglary & Fire Home Safes have been ETL certified with 60 minutes of fire protection. This is due to the seamless proprietary fire clay mix fill material that provides extra protection from high heat alongside the formidable steel.
The AMSEC BFS4520E1 home safe comes with the UL Listed ESL10 Electronic Lock, which is a very reliable American Security lock. This lock comes with a spring-loaded relocker that will offer extra protection for the lock in the case of an attempted burglary attack on the safe.
The BFS burglary and fire home safes are finished in a beautiful two-tone paint including a textured black body and textured gray door. This model comes with 3 adjustable/removable steel shelves for neatly storing your valuables inside and has a 3-spoke chrome turn handle to open the door. To keep it secure, there is one bolt down hole pre-drilled and mounting hardware included for securing the safe to the floor.
