"If you need protection for your expensive collectibles or jewelry, an American Security Amvault TL-15 safe is the right safe for you. AMSEC offers a variety of sizes that will fit your valuables to a tee."
John Dean
Owner, Dean Safe
AMSEC's Amvault CE-1814 high security composite safes have passed Underwriter's Laboratory's grueling battery of tests for the TL-15 certification. They have successfully resisted entry for a net working time of 15 minutes, and this means actual time trying to break into the safe.
It does not include time for changing tools, changing drill bits or other expendable tool parts. The tester must open the door or make a six square inch opening entirely through the door or front face.
The construction requirements on this safe are: a U.L. listed Group II, 1 or 1R combination lock, 750 lbs. minimum (or must come with instructions for anchoring in a larger safe, concrete blocks or on the premises where used), body walls of material equivalent to at least one inch open hearth steel with a minimum tensile strength of 50,000 P.S.I. The walls need to be fastened in a manner equivalent to continuous 1/4-inch penetration weld of open hearth steel with a minimum tensile strength of 50,000 P.S.I. and one hole 1/4 inch or less to accommodate electrical conductors arranged to have no direct view of the door or locking mechanism. Whew, you almost need to be an engineer!
AMSEC's TL-15 safes qualify for Mercantile & Broadform Insurance Class ER with a Bank Rating of BR. Standard finish is parchment, with other colors available on request.
